Approach
Her style is active, collaborative, and practical. While gaining insight is an important part of the work, she works with you to create concrete ways to respond differently to the world around you. Together, you'll identify the patterns that are getting in your way, understand what keeps them going, and develop skills you can actually use in your everyday life.
Therapy with Dr. Laurel is not about becoming a different person. It’s about becoming more effective at navigating your emotions, relationships, decisions, and the challenges you face.
Beyond Individual Therapy
She founded Summit DBT to bring these skills beyond the traditional therapy room. In addition to individual therapy, she offers DBT skills groups and corporate trainings designed to translate evidence-based psychological principles into practical tools for real life.
Whether she's working with an individual or a team, the goal is similar: helping people respond more intentionally, communicate more effectively, and create sustainable change.

If you plan to seek reimbursement, we recommend you check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network benefits prior to starting therapy.
